John Gruber is well known as an Apple fan, but he unsurprisingly has an opinion on Windows Phone 7 and Android as well. According the the Wall Street Journal, it seems that Google TV will hit shelves a lot sooner than we all originally expected. Two days ago we heard from Eric Schmidt that Google TV would launch sometime this fall.

Announced today at IFA-2010 was a little handset called the Ideos, by Huawei. This will be a Vanilla 2.2 Android device that has a 2.8 inch capacitive display with a resolution of 320×240, and 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera without a flash.
When it comes to Android devices, we’re all expecting them to be some great pieces of technology. Especially now-a-days. And after the launch of several Motorola devices that sit at the top of the hill (albeit all for one carrier), seeing another device heading to South Korea that fits the bill makes us plenty happy.
