Samsung’s Omnia Pro 4 that went official at CommunicAsia in June has been announced for the German market. It will be called as Omnia 735 and run Windows Mobile 6.5.3 OS. Available from this month, Omnia 735 features a 2.62-inch touchscreen display, 3G support, Office Mobile 2010, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.2MP camera, FM Radio and microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB

Not many days ago, we told you that the Acer Stream was headed to the UK via Expansys. Back then, the shipping date appeared to be August 3rd, according to information on the Expansys site. Well, today Acer have issued a press release confirming the Stream’s release but mentioning an August 9th launch date.

Former Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein, now at HP, following HP’s acquisition of Palm , mentioned in an interview with Fortune that WebOS 2.0 is on track for “later this year”. If I were a betting man, I’d say Q4 is the magic time of the year when we’ll actually see its release. Rubinstein also said that they’re “aggressively” developing new hardware, that will presumably run the new version of WebOS.
