Vodafone UK is now selling the LG Ego Wi-Fi, a touchscreen featurephone that boldly lists its main feature in its name.

The HTC Sensation is undoubtedly the Taiwanese manufacturer’s flagship smartphone for 2011, and it is indeed a device very worthy of that title.

With the launch of Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab 10.1 today , albeit exclusively at the Union Square Best Buy in NYC, Vodafone UK announced it would be switching to the new thinner model as well . Well it appears Vodafone is planning on selling a version that’s also clocked a bit higher than the ones given out at Google IO. We’ve yet to see or hear anything to confirm this, but it’s repeated several times on Vodafone’s site

Bad news if you were holding out for an 8-megapixel Galaxy Tab 10.1v in the UK, with Vodafone UK deciding to switch their attentions from the original Samsung slate – announced as an exclusive to the carrier back at its debut in February – to the updated, slimmer version that followed on in March.

A couple of weeks ago, Vodafone officially announced the Smart – an own-brand Android smartphone that was meant to be sold cheap. Dirt cheap.

That’s right, those photos you may have seen a short while ago were real, and Vodafone is the exclusive holder of such a flamingly bright device. Can you dig it? Launched by Vodafone UK last week, the HTC Sensation will be offered to British customers by Three, too – although it won’t happen this month. Three UK’s coming soon webpage shows the Sensation as being available starting June. Pricing details have not been unveiled, but the carrier will surely offer the new dual-core smartphone for free on select plans.

Vodafone UK has confirmed that the HTC Sensation is now available, and customers who pre-ordered it should receive it starting today ( as expected ). In case you haven’t done it until now, you can order the Sensation online at Vodafone’s website – it’s free on pay monthly plans from £35.
