Nexus S Android 2.3.2 System Update Pushing Now (SMS Bug Fix? UPDATE: Yes!)

Some folks are reporting over at XDA that an update to Nexus S is pushing now, one that brings the system up to version 2.3.2. This version, as it says it contains important bug fixes, we expect is the SMS bug fix everyone’s been waiting for.

Unheard of Android 2.4 Is Powering the Sony Experia Arc!

NEC dual-screen Android tablet & Android netbook incoming

NEC will launch a dual-touchscreen version of their LifeTouch/Smartia tablet at CES 2011 next month, though full details of the presumably clamshell device are currently unknown. According to PC World , the tablet – which will also carry the LifeTouch brand – has a pair of 7-inch touchscreens which can show different information simultaneously.

Skyfire for Android Updated

The popular Skyfire browser for Android has just been updated to 3.0.1, bringing along with it some new features. It’s a relatively minor but brings some stability fixes and a few much needed improvements. Sony Ericsson ANZU/XPERIA X12 previewed

A prototype Sony Ericsson ANZU – aka the XPERIA X12 – has dropped into the hands of Mobile-Review , and they’ve given it a thorough (some might say pessimistic) preview. The XPERIA X12 has a 4.3-inch 854 x 480 capacitive touchscreen, and is powered by the 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 chipset seen on the T-Mobile G2/HTC Desire Z.

HTC Desire Z Spreads to Canada

Canadians running wild in their plaid boxer shorts and North of the Border themed Android Anticipation t-shirts is the scene in Canada today as Bell Canada announces that it will soon release the HTC Desire Z. This Desire is one of two we’ve had our hands on, clicking and flicking , and now all those folks up there above our heads will have the chance to rock around with them too. It’s unknown how different this version of the Desire Z will be, if they’ll be exactly the same as those available in the states or if the usual slew of complaints by abnormally disturbed customers will be rectified
