Apple has start to rolled out its first software update for the iOS 5. The new iOS 5.0.1 fixes various bugs, including the possible root cause that affect your iPhone battery life. This is also the first time that you can update your iPhone without iTunes.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Hitting All Sony Ericsson Smartphones This Year
October 25th, 2011Sony Ericsson announced that all their smartphones will receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The company posted on Facebook the list of devices that would get the update which are Xperia Play, neo, neo V, mini, mini pro, Ray, Pro, active, arc and arc S. Motorola Droid 2 Global Gingerbread Update Now Available
September 7th, 2011Quick reminder for those that may be running with a Droid 2 Global, no Verizon and Motorola didn’t forget about your update, they just were making sure to get it right and now it is finally available. Although FroYo was cold and tasty Motorola now has some fresh baked Android 2.3 Gingerbread ready for the D2 Global and it should be rolling out right now. Back in August the Droid 2 Global 2.3 Gingerbread build was leaked and available for all but this latest release is the official version and should be hitting handsets all week.
