With 2487 submissions from around the globe, the 2nd annual iPhoneArt Mobile Art Grant was awarded to Carlein Van Der Beek of Holland. First runner up is Nettie Edwards of the United Kingdom, and second runner up is Cindy Patrick, of the United States. A comprehensive list of all award winners, finalists, semi-finalists and honorable mentions can be seen on the IPA Mobile Art Grant page .In addition to revealing the winners, the grant page is an excellent “Year in Review.” For those involved in iPhoneography, it’s a great place to see many of today’s top artists being recognized – and for those less familiar, it provides a quick and comprehensive introduction to what is possible in the mobile arts.
