HTC Holiday for AT&T leaks: dual-core 1.2GHz 4.5-inch qHD superphone?

Details of a new HTC uberphone for AT&T, the HTC Holiday, have emerged, looking to take on the Samsung Infuse 4G with a 4.5-inch touchscreen. According to the info discovered by 911sniper , the HTC Holiday has a 4.5-inch qHD 960 x 540 resolution display and the same 1.2GHz Snapdragon MSM8660 dual-core processor as in the HTC Sensation . There’s also 1GB of RAM, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and twin cameras: 8-megapixels on the back, and 1.3-megapixels up front for video calling

Adobe: Flash 10.2 coming to Android

Adobe announced at Mobile World Conference in Barcelona today that source code for Adobe Flash 10.2 has been released to tier one developers and should make it’s way to Android smartphones and tablets within the next few weeks.  That’s moving at a pretty fast pace considering that 10.2 had only been launched on Windows and Mac nearly at the same time.  Adobe representatives also said that Android smartphones and tablets using dual-core processors will see the greatest benefit including HD video at 30 frames per second. “It is definitely noticeable,” said Adobe’s Anup Murarka, “we’re seeing higher frame rates, we’re seeing more responsiveness in terms of graphics. We’re going to see this really rapid development of mobile capabilities. With a dual-core Snapdragon processor, we’re able to decode 1080p video on a mobile device.

OliveSmart V-S300 promises Gingerbread for India

Indian mobile device company Olive Telecom has announced its own Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset, the OliveSmart V-S300 , an HSPA+ smartphone with a 4.1-inch capacitive touchscreen. OEM is unclear, but the V-S300 has a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with 720p HD video support, 1GHz Snapdragon MSM8255 processor, 512MB of ROM and WiFi b/g. There’s also a front-facing webcam, WVGA display, GPS and Bluetooth 2.1, along with HDMI and a digital compass.
