Productivity App mProductive Now Available in App World

Back in April we wrote about an app called mProductive that was looking for beta testers. The app is by the same people who brought you mCaller and thanks to your help with the beta, they are live in App World. mProductive allows you to create action items from calls, emails and SMS’s which then appear in your native BlackBerry task list, calendar and memo pad.

Group SMS Messaging – iPhone iOS4 Vs. Android 2.1

Apple updated iOS4 to support group messaging, allowing users to send messages to entire groups via MMS text messages which also sends the recipient list to everyone. This lets everyone reply to the entire group without reentering their text numbers and it groups all messages within that group into a single thread. Testing this feature showed that the Droid Incredible with the Android 2.1 OS does not support this feature, putting Apple ahead of the Droid with a Major text messaging feature.

Kaspersky Lab Says First Android SMS Trojan Detected

Spotify for iPhone gets updated

Spotify’s iPhone app has been given a further update and is now available in the App Store. Enhancements in the update include: Share tracks and playlists via SMS (iOS 4 only) Spotify Twitter posts added to the News Feed New high-resolution icon for iPhone 4 Pressing the “prev” button skips to the start of a track, even if you’re playing the first track The “restore” message no longer appears when in airplane mode Fixed a crash some users experienced with the What’s New tab Fixed an issue with inbox not updating with new tracks in certain cases Read Comments / Comment this post

Samsung UK: official Froyo update for the Galaxy S will come by the end of September

Just yesterday the first builds of Froyo for the international Samsung Galaxy S (i9000) have leaked. And they’ve even been joined in the mean time by a new one (the flashing procedure remains the same, as  described here ). Also, recently we’ve heard that the Korean version of the Galaxy S, the M110S, will get the official update to Froyo in early August , and that, in France, the Galaxy S will get Google’s latest and greatest mobile operating system in September .
