AT&T Getting HTC Titan On November 20th For $200

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Hitting All Sony Ericsson Smartphones This Year

Sony Ericsson announced that all their smartphones will receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The company posted on Facebook the list of devices that would get the update which are Xperia Play, neo, neo V, mini, mini pro, Ray, Pro, active, arc and arc S. Intel Atom E series processors could get Android Gingerbread in 2012

The world has gone Android crazy over the last few years with the operating system and the smartphones and tablets that run it being very popular with users around the world. Intel is far behind in the mobile game mostly thanks to the fact that its mobile chips are not as power efficient as others on the market and the expense. Intel is reportedly looking to bring a custom version of Android to the Atom E series of processors next year.

Verizon moves to kill illegal tethering on hacked phones

Verizon is following in the footsteps of AT&T and has announced that tethering on hacked smartphones will not be tolerated anymore. Verizon is out to stop the people that are tethering their smartphones using unofficial apps like MyWi from consuming more data than Verizon thinks is fair. The carrier wants the illegal tethering users to fork over more loot for official tethering support
