While Google is huge in America and many other places around the world, Baidu is the biggest in China and are planning to get their own slice of the Android and mobile market. Google operates a big operation in China but is still behind Baidu in that region.

Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch Coming September 16th for $199

Samsung and the Now Network have also confirmed that they will also be launching the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch (long name I know) with 4G WiMAX coming this September. Prior to the event in NYC going on as we speak Samsung accidentally unveiled the details on the SGSIIE4GT — yes that is what I’m calling it. The Galaxy S II with 4G WiMAX will be available from the team in Yellow first, they get exclusive rights as the first Galaxy S II to the US.

Samsung Admire Headed to MetroPCS

The Samsung Admire is heading to MetroPCS this school season and should hit shelves just in time for back to school shoppers. We first saw and spied on this device in early July and it was running some Android 2.3 Gingerbread. This should make for a perfect back to school mid-range phone for friends and family

LG Optimus 3D Shown with CyanogenMod 7 Looking Good [Video]

Today we have a video teasing some beautiful CyanogenMod 7 running on the LG Optimus 3D (aka LG Thrill 4G). It might not be available for the AT&T version right away but most likely both will have CM7 builds very shortly.

Sony S1 and S2 Leaked Screenshots Show 3.2 Honeycomb and UI Changes

A Sony support page was put up and then very quickly taken down but not before a few pictures got snapped of their new Sony S1 and S2 Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablets. Yup, first off it appears they will be running on the latest Android 3.2 Honeycomb as well as having some tweaks and changes to the user interface. First off just like we mentioned the leaked screenshots show it will not come with 3.0 or 3.1 but in fact the latest Android 3.2 Honeycomb, they’ve made changes to the user interface sort of similar to Samsung, they have a new keyboard and more.

Droid Incredible 2/S Achieve Permanent Root with S-Off
