RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook launched in the US and Canada, prices start at$499

RIM has kept its promise and today launched the BlackBerry Playbook – its first tablet. For the moment, the PlayBook is available only in the US and Canada, but it will be introduced in other markets starting later this quarter. As you may already know, the PlayBook – presented by RIM as “the world’s first professional-grade tablet” – has three versions: 16GB (priced at $499), 32GB ($599), and 64GB ($699)

New BlackBerry Touch Monaco shows up in hands-on photos

BlackBerry PlayBook will officially support Android apps
