This device is one that we’ve reviewed in full here on Android Community and whose close cousin the Sony Tablet P we’ve also got a full hands-on with as well. Lucky you, the first of these two tablet devices will be in your hands in less than a month if store information proves to be completely correct.

Samsung TouchWiz UX Review [Galaxy Tab 10.1]

August 5th, 2011

Today we’ve got our Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi version hooked up with the newest version of what Samsung has dubbed TouchWiz UX. This is Samsung’s custom user interface and the first “official” user interface made on top of Google’s Android Honeycomb (version 3.1 right here right now.) This user interface reflects what the Samsung Galaxy S II is using with TouchWiz 4.0 with several enhancements that are unique to tablets.

HTC Status Review

July 28th, 2011

Welcome to our official Facebook Phone review – at least that’s what they’ll have you believe if you’re in the AT&T store. What I’d bill this phone as is the greatest little keyboard in the West that just so happens to have a Facebook button below it and a display that’s just a little bit too small, but certainly bright and sharp. I come from an environment where I basically skipped over the BlackBerry era and went straight to 4-inch and above displays, so keep that in mind when you take this trip with me down Android way on a device that’s by no means perfect, but shoot if it isn’t pretty looking and nice to hold.

Toshiba Thrive Review

July 26th, 2011

Welcome to the Toshiba Thrive (aka the Toshiba THRiVE if you believe the box’s interpretation of it.) This is a tablet we’ve been talking about since early 2010, a tablet of some legend – one that was said to possibly be the hero device for Honeycomb, then the hero device for Google to be giving away at their Google I/O conference this spring! But alas, none of that came true, and here we are with the thickest and possibly the heaviest tablet in the whole Android bunch. Will fun features such as a replaceable back panel and ports galore save this device from “it’s not thin enough” fever?
