Galaxy S II USA Release Has 4.5-inch Display According to FCC

It appears that a mister Tommy Thompson from all the way over at Google+ has done some legwork on the images of the Galaxy S II that have been released thus far. What Thompson has done is to take the dimensions as given in the FCC listing of the Epic Touch, aka the WiMAX version of the Galaxy S II being announced tomorrow, and adjusted the images of the original Galaxy S II and the new USA version accordingly. What he’s found is that, what do you know, the display on the USA release may well be the larger 4.5-inch display we’ve been hearing about in a LTE edition of the device.

HTC Vigor Details and Picture Appear on Dutch Website

We might have seen our first look at the upcoming HTC Vigor late last night thanks to a Dutch Phone site that posted it up, but it was quickly removed. Seen in the picture below this could very easily be a fake photo but it does look very similar to the Sensation or the popular HTC Thunderbolt that the Vigor is said to be replacing over at Verizon Wireless

ASUS Padfone Caught on Video, May Ship with Ice Cream Sandwich

Earlier this year back in May we heard ASUS had something special in the works and later the press photos were leaked of what they are calling the ASUS Padfone. According to Alex Sun, head of their Personal Mobile Device Department, the Padfone will in fact be launching with Android 2.4 (or 4.0) Ice Cream Sandwich

Sony Ericsson Nozomi Leaked, 1.4 Ghz CPU and 4.3″ 720p display

Some new leaked information from some anonymous tipsters is suggesting that Sony is prepping a few nice handsets to be released soon. The main leaked device is codenamed “Nozomi” and should be available sometime in November

LG Flip II Dual-screen Android Phone Spotted Again

Recently a few more pictures have leaked out for the LG Flip II or so we are calling it. This is a dual-screen slider headed to T-Mobile by LG that not only has dual screens but also a hardware keyboard. It’s a different take on design that is for sure, but I could see developers cooking up some cool and unique features for that extra screen real estate

LG Revolution Update Coming Soon, Not Gingerbread but will fix bugs

The LG Revolution is next in line to get an update, sadly this wont be that tasty Gingerbread 2.3 and you’re not getting any milk either but it will fix a pile of bugs and add some new features. This will be the first update for the Verizon LTE device, it is 69MB and will bring users to version VS910ZV6. The update will bring along improvements to users while on calls, updates to email and texting applications and a host of other things all seen in the picture above
