Android users now have a new choice when it comes to browsers. Today, Opera Software announced that Opera Mobile 10.1 beta is available in the Android Market for free, providing the many millions of Android users better browser performance and an improved user experience. Android users are known to appreciate speed and functionality.

Several months after launching Opera Mini for Android , Opera has now announced the upcoming availability of Opera Mobile for Google’s OS. Expected to be compatible with all Android builds, Opera Mobile will come with hardware acceleration (which lets it “run at lightning speedâ€) and pinch to zoom (which allows users to “choose their own level of zoom just like in Opera Desktopâ€).

Opera has announced that Opera Mobile for Android will be released within a month, complete with hardware acceleration and pinch-to-zoom.  The company claims that the former “allows Opera Mobile to run at lightning speed†and that “navigating a page will be faster than ever, and the improvements to the UI will be momentous.†Meanwhile, rather than the two-stage zooming in Opera Mobile currently, the new version for Android will support multiple levels of pinch-zooming.

Samsung Mobile USA has officially announced two new phones for AT&T: Samsung Eternity II A597 and Samsung Flight II A927 (the later was already seen on Samsung’s website last week). Both handsets feature quad-band GSM and tri-band 3G connectivity, and AT&T Mobile TV.
