Today Sony has officially announced and unveiled both the Sony Tablet S as well as the popular Sony Tablet P. Until now these were known as the S1 and S2 but recently earned official names.
In case anyone missed it, today was Samsung day and they’ve officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S II Smartphone is headed to all three major US carriers with the exception of Verizon (they have bigger plans so I’m told).
Just in time for Hurricane Irene, FEMA has released their Android App with all sorts of emergency tips and help guides and more. This is just in time as this sad hurricane Irene appears to be headed right for the East Coast and will most likely cause a few problems

For the masses of HTC EVO 4G users out there you’ll be happy to know that starting yesterday, a software maintenance update has started rolling out for those lovely EVO’s of yours. You might want to head over and click the check for updates button in settings because it appears HTC has something waiting for you. We all know the Gingerbread update caused a bit of problems that have mostly all been fixed, but this update should bring even more changes and help the overall user experience
The HTC EVO Design 4G also known as the HTC Kingdom has just been revealed with a bit more details.
Today Verizon Wireless has unveiled their new Verizon Video App and it’s available now in the Android Market . Don’t get too excited though because all they’ve done is renamed V Cast Video to Verizon Video and gave it a pretty user interface update.

You’d be correct if you were wondering if AT&T had launched their 4G LTE network yet and thought to yourself, no they haven’t. That is because so far they’ve only been testing a few small areas and networks but nothing official has been launched

The Motorola PHOTON 4G, the latest dual-core device to hit the Now Network with those fast WiMax speeds is already seeing a price drop at a few local retailers like RadioShack. It has only been out for less than 2 weeks but RadioShack is offering it for half off at just $99.99 with a new contract, nice deal huh
