Verizon’s LG Revolution officially launching tomorrow, $250 on contract

It’s finally official: LG Revolution , Verizon’s third 4G LTE smartphone, will be available starting tomorrow, May 26 (online and in stores). Verizon will sell the Revolution for $249.99 on contract. This makes it the carrier’s cheapest LTE handset, since both the HTC Thunderbolt and Samsung Droid Charge were priced at $299 at launch (sure enough, the Thunderbolt now costs $249, too)

Verizon Rolls Out 4G LTE in New Cities This Week

4G Smartphones, Modems And Hot Spots Arrive On The Verizon Wireless LTE Network In Pensacola, Florida, On May 19 PENSACOLA, FL — Starting Thursday, Verizon Wireless customers in Pensacola will be able to surf the web, download files and share music and photos up to 10 times faster than before with Verizon Wireless’ 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network. The network launches on May 19 and will be available to customers in the following cities and towns: Pensacola, Fla.

Droid Charge officially available at Verizon tomorrow

Verizon Customers have been anxiously waiting for the release of the Droid Charge, which was supposed to be released on April 28th. The delay was caused by an LTE outage on April 27th and Verizon gave no expected date of return until today

We Have Them! 4G LTE Modems from Google I/O

Yesterday at Google I/O, everyone was handed a blue card which was good for a free Verizon Mobile Hotspot and a SIM card, and gave three months of complimentary service from Verizon. At the time, conference goers were told that they could pick up the gear Wednesday afternoon. This morning at the keynote, Vic Gundotra let us all know that the blue card went with a 4G LTE mobile hotspot.

Droid Charge Review at SlashGear

Samsung Galaxy S 4G wins best of CTIA

Cellular South gets Motorola Xoom too, Wi-Fi-only but bundled with MiFi and cheap monthly data

Cellular South has announced earlier today that it too will be selling the Motorola Xoom , the first tablet to run Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The carrier has a preview page up, however it’s still unclear when exactly the Xoom will be available to buy from Cellular South. Other details are known, though.
