Wi-Fi-only Motorola Xoom now available at some US Cellular retail locations for $599.99

Back in April we heard that the Motorola Xoom , the first tablet to run Android Honeycomb, would also become available from US Cellular sometime before the end of June . And, well, today is the big day, as the carrier itself announced via Twitter . There are some caveats, though.

And, just as you may have already guessed, one of the main selling points of the U6150 will be its affordability. That, and its full physical QWERTY keyboard which will surely attract those obsessed with texting, emailing, or social networking.

Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available starting June 24

Already available in the US (at locations including Best Buy and Amazon), the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be released by Sprint, too, later this week. The third largest US carrier has has announced that it would offer a 16GB, Wi-Fi-only version of the tablet starting June 24 (this Friday). Just like elsewhere, the 16GB Galaxy Tab 10.1 will cost $499.99 at Sprint (which will let you connect the tablet to its 4G network through the Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Sierra Wireless, or the MiFi 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Novatel).

Nokia intros C2-02, C2-03 (dual SIM) and C2-06 Touch and Type phones

The same day it announced the MeeGo-based N9 flagship smartphone, Nokia has also introduced three new Touch and Type handsets: the Nokia C2-02, Nokia C2-03, and Nokia C2-06. All three phones are affordable and look the same: they’re S40-based sliders with common features, including: 2.6 inch QVGA resistive touchscreen display, GSM / GPRS / EDGE connectivity, Nokia Maps for S40, Nokia Browser, 3.5mm headset jack, streo FM radio, 2MP camera, and MicroSD card support. Contrary to what we’ve previously heard , the C2-06 isn’t a dual SIM phone, and neither is the C2-02 .
