Posted by: Thijs Koot May 26, 2011 The Galaxy S II isn’t even officially available yet in the U.S., but it’s already been rooted, overclocked, and the first few custom ROMs are coming up as well. I used to run Ubuntu on my original Galaxy S (Just for fun of course, you can’t effectively use Ubuntu on a 4″ screen), so I decided to port Ubuntu to the Galaxy S II. As you can see in the photo above, I succeeded

T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Hands-On
March 22nd, 2011Here at CTIA 2011 we’ve been granted the opportunity to get a slightly early hands-on with the first Sidekick to be jam packed with Android goodness. This device comes in two color schemes, one of them with a black underside and white back, the other with a white underside and pink back. But this time iDealsChina claims to have “mold engineering drawings for iPhone 5â€, which “would be used by case designers to create plastic, TPU, aluminum, silicone and leather cases.†So, if these claims are valid, the next-generation iPhone will resemble the device seen below (notice the existence of a larger – possibly 4 inches – display): There’s not much changed, is it?
