3.7 million Android devices activated on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
December 29th, 2011Senior Vice President of Mobile at Google Andy Rubin just tweeted that at least 3.7 million Android devices were activated on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Compare that another the Android chief’s tweet a few months ago , telling us that there are over 500,000 Android devices activated every day — it means 1 million device activations on an average two day period. From another stats, Mobile analytics firm Flurry says , the number of Android devices activated on Christmas Day jumped 353 percent from the first 20 days of December

Apple tablet ban overturned in Au, iOS shuns ESRB ratings
November 30th, 2011The ESRB ratings on video games for consoles and PCs all use letters to warn when a game might not be appropriate for kids. Apple and Google will not use the new mobile Application Rating system apparently essentially making it dead before it launches. I would assume that Apple and Android will have their own ratings system
