Price Grabber takes Miracle on 34th Street Approach to Sales

Announced via a press release, the Price Grabber app was updated to include some new functionality.  We will let a quote from the release speak to the changes: PriceGrabber has increased the functionality of its shopping experience on its Android application. Shoppers are now able to share their favorite products with friends and family via email, Twitter and Facebook.

Android courts Enterprise with remote-tracking, encryption & more

Google has announced a renewed focus on enterprise use of Android devices, with a range of new features centered around security and collaborative working. Available to all Google Apps for Business and Google Apps for Education customers, the functionality includes remote tracking and locking support via the My Devices dashboard. It’s now possible to locating a lost Android 2.2+ handset on a map, ring the device, and reset its PIN or password remotely.

Sony Ericsson unlocking bootloader for some 2011 Android phones

Sony Ericsson has announced that it will be taking a more flexible approach to unlocking the bootloader on its Android smartphones, though the functionality won’t be available until later in the year. According to  Karl-Johan Dahlström , Senior Program Architect at Sony Ericsson, certain models of the company’s 2011 range – including the XPERIA Play, Arc, Pro and Neo – will offer an open-bootloader option for flashing third-party firmware
