HTC 7 Pro with Windows Phone released by US Cellular

Not long ago, we told you that US Cellular planned to introduce an HTC Windows Phone 7 handset – and, well, today it just did it. The handset is the HTC 7 Pro, which is also offered by Sprint under the name of HTC Arrive. US Cellular’s HTC 7 Pro is available as of now for $199.99 on contract (after a $100 mail-in rebate).

HTC Desire II (Desire S) and Wildfire S headed to US Cellular

Since they were officially unveiled in Barcelona back in February, HTC’s Desire S and Wildfire S have made their way to many carriers in many countries, however we don’t often talk about these phones in a US context. Today we found out, courtesy of Android Central , that both of the aforementioned HTC smartphones are going to be launched by US Cellular at some point (the Desire S being called Desire II, though)

AT&T’s HTC HD7S only $49 at Best Buy

While Amazon is selling the HTC HD7S for $99.99 (unlike AT&T, which sells it for $199.99), Best Buy has an even more attractive offer: it lets customers buy the new Windows Phone 7 device for just $49.99. Of course, you need to sign up for a new 2-yr contract agreement in order to qualify for that price. If you order it online from Best Buy , the HD7S should be shipped to you within 2-5 business days

Samsung Galaxy S II outselling iPhone 4 in the UK

Launched in the UK earlier this month, the new Samsung Galaxy S II has quickly become the country’s most popular smartphone. Just like we told you it happened in South Korea , the Galaxy S II is outselling Apple’s iPhone 4 in the UK, too.

HTC Desire S is Officially Red on Vodafone Exclusively

What a brightly colored experience you’re about to have! The folks at HTC have deemed the color red to be so fantastic that they’ve officially dubbed their Desire S ready to wear it all the time! That’s right, those photos you may have seen a short while ago were real, and Vodafone is the exclusive holder of such a flamingly bright device. Can you dig it? Or is it too massively blastingly fantastically bright for your eyeballs?

HTC Desire S and Wildfire S officially headed to Telstra Australia

Telstra, the largest Australian mobile carrier, is getting ready to release two of HTC’s latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphones: the HTC Desire S , and the HTC Wildfire S . According to PC Word Australia , Telstra will host an event on May 25, when it should announce the launch dates of the two new handsets. Sure enough, you can already buy the Desire S in Australia , but only unlocked, via Mobicity, for $499 (initially, the retailer sold the new Desire for $699)

Vodafone HTC Desire HD Android 2.3 Gingerbread update goes live

LG Genesis with Android 2.2, two screens and QWERTY keyboard headed to US Cellular

US Cellular will launch a new Android smartphone made by LG soon. The handset is called LG Genesis, runs Android 2.2 Froyo, and is a dual-screen clamshell with a full QWERTY keyboard. Both screens are WVGA, although one measures 3.5 inches, and the other only 3.2 inches

HTC Bliss a Verizon Android Phone made for Women

I know I found it a bit of a surprise when I read it myself, but according to sources it looks like HTC has been fishing around with the idea for quite a while now and they plan to do just that.
