March 9th, 2011

Samsung has already sent out the teasers regarding its mystery device reveal later this month, expected to be an 8.9-inch version of the Galaxy Tab Android tablet. The filing for the M02M – which is believed to have a 7-inch display and run NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chipset – also lists WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. There’s also a SIM card slot and an SD card slot, both accessed via a door on the side of the Looking Glass; it’s unclear at this stage whether the tablet will be able to make voice calls, like the Dell Streak or not.

Unlocked Dell Streak now on sale direct from Dell

November 23rd, 2010

If you’ve been holding off buying an unlocked Dell Streak out of a sense of loyalty to Dell rather than AT&T, the day of credit card flexing is upon you. Dell is now offering the Streak direct , complete with Android 2.2 Froyo pre-loaded, priced at $549.99 with a bundled 16GB microSD card. Unfortunately, while a T-Mobile USA SIM will be recognized, and voice and EDGE data supported, the Streak still only supports AT&T 3G bands and so they’re your only option in the US if you want high speed mobile data.
