Morgan Stanley is predicting that Apple could sell as many as 40 million iPhones in China by 2013. That of course is contingent on Apple landing contracts with the other two carriers in China and the next version of the iPhone supporting China Mobile’s TD-LTE 4G network. Nokia to launch new Windows Phones every 2-3 months
May 26th, 2011Although there is still no official word on when exactly Nokia’s first Windows Phone devices will be out – it may happen before or after the end of 2011 – today the company has provided some extra details on its WP strategy. According to Jo Harlow, Nokia’s executive vice president of smart devices (who was quoted by PC Mag ), new Windows Phone devices should be launched “in a rhythm that might be every couple of months, every three months, something like that.” With new devices being introduced at such a fast pace, we’ll likely see handsets of various forms factors and price points pretty soon (for example, we’ve heard that a Windows Phone E 71 / E6-like handset is in the making).

Next iPhone to be called iPhone 4S not 5
May 13th, 2011We’ve been discussing rumors about an iPhone 5 for a while now, and apparently we’ve been calling it by the wrong name. The next iPhone is supposed to be called the iPhone 4S rather than the iPhone 5 according to Jeffries analyst Peter Misek We’ve also heard some good news that the iPhone 4S will be coming to the following carriers: Sprint, T-Mobile, and China Mobile. The iPhone 4S will not be significantly different than the iPhone 4 besides some hardware changes including new cameras, A5 dual-core processor, and HSPA+ support.

Samsung is Asia’s second Cash Rich Company
November 16th, 2010A report published by Moody’s Investors Service claims that Samsung is the second richest company, in terms of cash in Asia. The leading Cash Rich Company in Asia is China Mobile. About 120 Asian companies were surveyed by the firm whose cash-to-debt ratio was found to be over 400 percent or average balance per corporate of $1.5 billion, which is higher than the average per corporate in the United States.
