It seems that all of the reviews that have been coming out on the Playbook have scared Verizon Wireless just a little bit.  Lots of reviews have been saying that the playbook is “half-baked,†meaning that there are a lot of incomplete features of the OS and apps.  One problem is the Blackberry Bridge app; the only features that actually work with the smartphone and tablet connected are mail, calendar, and contacts.

New BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930 shows up in video tutorials
April 5th, 2011The unannounced BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930 has appeared in some video tutorials, which – although they weren’t published by RIM – look quite official. As mentioned before, the smartphone will be RIM’s first Bold to come with a touchscreen display (2.8 inch, 640 x 480 pixels)

RIM Playbook Confirmed to Run Android Applications

BlackBerry PlayBook will officially support Android apps
March 24th, 2011RIM has surprised the world by announcing that its first tablet – the BlackBerry PlayBook – will support Android and BlackBerry Java applications. Unfortunately, this won’t happen from the first day the tablet launches (April 19), but only starting the summer.

HTC HD7 will become available from Telstra in Australia on March 29
March 24th, 2011The HTC HD7 is, at the moment, the Windows Phone 7 device that has the biggest screen of them all at 4.3 inches. And, just as HTC announced it would back when it first introduced it to the world last October, this smartphone will become available on Telstra in Australia shortly. Furthermore, Telstra will get the HD7 as an exclusive for Australia, so if you’re over there and want to get yourself an HD7, Telstra seems to be your only choice (at least on contract).
