New BlackBerry Curve Apollo 9370 appears in hands-on video

Not long after we saw it in some official video tutorials, the unannounced BlackBerry Curve Apollo 9370 has been spotted now in a lengthy hands-on video. The first noticeable thing in the video is that the Apollo is really thin – just like the Bold 9900 . Other than that, the handset doesn’t look too different from the older models (Curve 8520 and Curve 3G 9300)

HTC Wildfire S to cost $249 at Bell Canada. Virgin Mobile will launch it, too

About one month ago, we told you that Bell would launch the HTC Wildfire S in Canada sometime in June, and it looks like we were right. According to Baka Wireless (a Bell authorized dealer), the new Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset could hit the shelves starting the very first day of June. Bell’s Wildfire S should cost $249.95 outright, meaning it may be offered for free with a new 3-yr contract agreement.

iPhone 5 production may start in July or August

There’s still no official word on when the iPhone 5 will be announced or released, but here are some new rumors regarding Apple’s upcoming smartphone. According to “three people with direct knowledge of Apple’s supply chain” quoted by Reuters , the new iPhone will enter production in July / August – thus earlier than we’ve previously heard this would happen. If the mentioned sources are to be believed, the iPhone 5 will be shipped starting September, so that’s the month when the device should also be available for purchase

Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510 officially launched in India

Samsung has officially released its Galaxy Pro B7510 Android smartphone in India. Announced back in March , the Galaxy Pro is a candybar with a full QWERTY keyboard, and a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display. The smartphone runs Android 2.2 and also features 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, access to social networking services, document editor, 3.5mm headset jack, 3.2MP camera, 800MHz processor, and a 2GB memory card pre-installed.

Cheap Samsung C414 clamshell featurephone now available at Videotron in Canada

After having been launched by Mobilicity last month, the affordable Samsung C414 has made it to Videotron as well. This is dubbed the C414V, whereas Mobilicity’s SKU is C414Y – that last letter seems to indicate the carrier.
