HTC Desire HD in Black Coming to Orange UK

Just as what happened last year with Orange and the original HTC Desire, the carrier is now planning to offer up the Desire HD in an exclusive Black Edition. Their webpage has been updated with a holding page for the incoming device and it should be the same device just sporting a new black exterior.

Android Flash Player Updated 10.1.105.7

Flash Player 10.1 for Android has just been updated. While we do not know exactly what the update includes we can hope that it addresses some general stability and performance issues we have all seen with the mobile player. The change log doesn’t list anything new, so we are left to assume that this is only a bug fix and enhancement update similar to what we have seen in the past

Skype 1.0.1 Update for Android Added Today

Popular talk and chat application Skype has just been updated to version 1.0.1, adding such lovely features as QVGA support and support for 320×240 resolution screens. This should pump up owners of Huawei IDEOS, LG Optimus T/S, Motorola Charm, and HTC Wildfire, who until now were workin without full functionality. Skype for Android has fixes and bug adjustments as well, a list of improvements to be found here below

SHAPE Services Updates IM+ Talk and Launches IM+ for Web

The IM+ Talk app has been updated to version 4.2 with a completely revamped user interface and a new theme, as well as a new Conversations View feature. The app also now has new message indicators included in 4.2. For those who haven’t heard of IM+ Talk, the app enables voice and text communication over Skype and is the closest thing to a Skype app for BlackBerry for non-Verizon users.
