When it comes to game apps there are a bunch of them installed on my phone and tablet but I only ever play two of them – Angry Birds and Cut the Rope. My kids like Cut the Rope better and I always know when my daughter has the tablet because I hear her say, “AHHHHH! Eat it stupid monster!†everytime she misses. Om Nom, the green candy fiend from the game is going plush in September

Posted by: Vincent Messina June 28, 2011 Rovio has teamed up with Barnes & Noble to give Nook Color users an exclusive first look at Angry Birds ‘ location based gaming project: “Magic Places.” Any Nook Color user who partakes in some in-store Angry Birds gaming will be treated to an exclusive Angry Birds Mighty Eagle character. Rovio’s new location based project aims to add a real world element into its Angry Birds franchise, allowing for users to unlock special characters and levels just by playing the game in specific locations. It’s not only a great way to encourage more Angry Birds play (as if that’s possible) but it’s also a great way to generate business for participating retailers.

As the title suggests, there will be another update to the brightest of all Angry Birds games, Angry Birds Seasons. This is a slight departure from the usual update string coming from said game as in the past they’ve mostly been official holidays, (or veiled references to those holidays, as it were,) this update being simply a lovely afternoon event in the sun. This update is sure to bring a couple new building bits, some new bonus points here and there, and of course some new hats for the piggies! If you watch the preview below very closely, you’ll see that worst of all birds, the green on, flying overhead in his ever so evil flipping way, that pig certainly in trouble if there’s a skilled assessing behind the tapping
