Cincinnati Bell launches Android-powered Huawei Ascend X, its first 4G smartphone
May 31st, 2011Cincinnati Bell has released its first ’4G’ (read: HSPA+) phone. It’s the Huawei Ascend X, which looks like it’s related to the Ideos X6 (if it isn’t the exact same device). This is an Android-powered smartphone that has a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 4.1-inch touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, 2 GB of internal storage, 512 MB of RAM, microSD support up to 32 GB, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and the aforementioned HSPA+, which allows a theoretical download throughput of 14.4 Mbps, and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA
