BlackBerry Torch 2 video overview in the wild alongside even more live pics

When a couple of blurry live images of the upcoming BlackBerry Torch 2 leaked last week, we were promised that clearer shots would come. And they have indeed surfaced, courtesy of TechnoBuffalo and one of their sources. Like the blurry pics before them, the new, clear shots show a smartphone that looks very much like its predecessor, the original BlackBerry Torch .

The Amazon Tablet is a rumor that refuses to die

DigiTimes is reporting that Taiwan based Quanta Computer has received a monthly order from Amazon for up to 800,000 tablet PCs at peak production. The tablets are expected to ship in the second half of 2011, making an Amazon Tablet ready to hit the market just in time for the holidays. Quanta is no stranger to tablets, being an OEM partner for both RIM and Sony.

Nokia says Apple also infringes patents in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands

Nokia has sued Apple three times until now (see here , here and here ), all complaints being filed in the US. Today, the Finnish company announced it has filed new claims against Apple , this time in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. According to Nokia, the new claims add other 13 patents to the 24 that Apple was allegedly already infringing in the US The patents are related to touch user interface, signal noise suppression, antenna structures, on-device app stores, caller ID and other technologies used by Apple “in many of its products”, “including iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.” “The Nokia inventions protected by these patents include several which enable compelling user experiences.

Mobclix survey reveals demographics of Android users
