Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Xperia Arc will be available from Rogers in Canada on April 28

In Canada, Rogers is busy getting ready to launch the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Xperia Arc . So far, it’s only officially said that these devices are coming “during Spring 2011″, however more information has surfaced today. A reliable tipster has informed MobileSyrup that the launch date for both of the aforementioned Android-powered smartphones has been set by Rogers, and it’s going to be Thursday, April 28.

HTC Merge Landing on Cellular South to be Available Next Month

Posted by: Drew Dauffenbach March 29, 2011 Cellular South, the largest privately owned cellular provider in the states, has teamed up with HTC to deliver the carrier’s first Android world phone, the HTC Merge.  Featuring a slide-out keyboard and 5MP rear camera, it also offers Android 2.2 (Froyo) and HTC Sense to create “a complete mobile experience.”  The Merge is certainly not the first Android device offered by Cellular South but will be their first world phone powered by Android

T-Mobile prices Sidekick 4G messaging phone [Video]

T-Mobile has confirmed official pricing for the incoming Sidekick 4G , the first handset in the popular messaging line to use Android as its OS. The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G will be priced at $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate on a qualifying plan with unlimited data, assuming you’re content with a two-year agreement. Alternatively, T-Mobile will be offering the slider smartphone for $149.99 with a qualifying plan including data (such as the Web – 200MB plan) on a two-year agreement

T-Mobile Dell Streak 7 Hands-on at CES 2011

You ought to admire Dell’s tenacity. Here we are, seeing the computer giant launch a new larger version of the tablet/smartphone hybrid Dell Streak we saw soft-launched on AT&T with rather paltry results.
