It’s tablet rumor time again. HP has made it pretty clear, since their acquisition of Palm, that the main focus for webOS won’t be in smartphones, but tablets.

HP kills Android Slate, relies only on WebOS for tablets?
July 15th, 2010This is the second HP Slate that gets canned. But unlike the Slate that was supposed to run Windows, the Android Slate still may have a teeny, tiny chance of making its way into the market. At this point, it’s just certain that it won’t happen this year in Q4, as it was originally supposed to.
